Possible risks/injures
- Tripping hazards- we will try to prevent this hazard by making sure that tables and chairs are spaced out, so that there is enough room for people to comfortably walk around our restaurant. In the kitchen we will make sure that nothing is left lying around that could be a potential tripping hazard.
- Slips and falls- If we are aware of or a notified of by a customer that there is an area on the floor which is wet, we will defiantly place 'caution wet floor' safety signs around that area.
- Cuts- In the kitchen we make sure that our staff are wearing protective clothing such as an apron and leather shoes so that possible knives being dropped will not be an issue for people to get cut.
- Food poisoning- at our restaurant we make sure that the food in which we use is not out of date and that meat and vegetables are prepared separately so that there is no possibility of people getting salmonella.
- Emergencies- If an emergency occurs, we has easy access first-aid kits onsite and emergency contact phone numbers which are pinned up on walls around the restaurant, this is so that if an emergency happens we will make sure that it will be attended as soon as possible.
